Mobile App Development Brisbane
Native and cross-platform mobile apps built in Brisbane for Australian businesses. Field-service, clinics, retail, finance and tradie apps — including the offline-sync, payments, and integration plumbing that makes them actually useful in production.
Apps we build
- Field-service apps for tradies — jobs, photos, signatures, offline sync, GPS routing
- Clinic and allied-health apps — bookings, patient records, secure messaging
- Retail and hospitality apps — loyalty, ordering, in-store payments, table service
- Logistics and proof-of-delivery apps — barcode scanning, route optimisation
- Finance and broker apps — secure document upload, biometric auth, e-signature
- Internal staff apps — timesheets, leave, expense capture with receipt OCR
What's actually hard about mobile
The visible app is 30% of the work. The other 70% is the invisible plumbing: offline-first sync when your users are in basements or rural areas, push notifications that don't silently break six months after launch, biometric auth across iOS and Android variants, app store compliance when policies change, and OS upgrade churn every September when iOS ships its annual breaking changes.
Most cheap mobile builds skip this plumbing and look great in a demo. They start failing in production three months later when a tradie loses signal in a basement, or Apple rejects the next update because of a tightened privacy rule. We build the plumbing from day one — that's the gap between a $20k cosmetic build and a $50k production-grade app.
Our process
1. Discovery + clickable prototype (2 weeks)
We map every screen and the offline/online behaviour for each before writing code. You sign off on a clickable Figma prototype and a fixed-price quote.
2. Sprint 1 — running on a real device
By end of sprint 1 (week 4), the app is on your iPhone via TestFlight or your Android via Google Play Internal Track. From that point you're testing weekly, not waiting for a final demo.
3. App store submission + 30-day stabilisation
We handle Apple/Google submission and the App Review back-and-forth. First 30 days post-launch, bug fixes are on us.
Why Brisbane-local matters for mobile
Mobile bugs are timezone-sensitive. If a tradie in Toowoomba hits a sync issue at 7am on a Monday, an offshore team in a -12hr timezone won't respond until Tuesday morning local time. That's a full lost day on a job site. We're Brisbane-local — same business hours, fast triage.
